"Wyoming runs on its mineral resources. I have been working with industry and state agencies to incentivize responsible development of our energy resources. As a ranking member of the Minerals & Economic Development Committee, I will carry onwith that work. We must continue to expand our markets for natural gas, capture more of Wyoming's wind resources, invest in reserarch of advanced coal technologies, and improve standards for clean, safe, and responsible development of our mineral resources."
Property Tax Relief
"I will again push to give counties the option of offering a Homestead Exemption on their property taxes."
Education
"Wyoming must continue investing in top-notch education, funding the Hathaway Scholarships, and supporting early childhood education, and after school latchkey programs."
Growth
"I'll continue to support measures that ensure our communities are attractive to new businesses by supporting good schools, roads, and infrastructure, as well as maintaining Wyoming's low taxes and our outstanding outdoor recreation."
Wyoming's Future
"We must continue to contribute to our state's savings accounts: the Mineral Trust Fund and the Wildlife Trust Fund to secure Wyoming's future. Wyoming is one of the few states that still maintains a budget surplus. Our job as legislators is to keep it that way."
